Booking.com, the market leading online hotel reservation service in the world) is looking for a Language Process Lead for our Content Agency department. In this role you will be responsible for leading transition of Booking.com localization teams (internal/external) to a new translation management system (TMS), from prioritizing contents & workflows that will be migrated to supervising creation of relevant training process for teams and stakeholders. Your focus will be driving performance improvements, supporting the design and development of workflows within language services, establishing measurements of performance and developing SLAs with stakeholders. You will be part of Operational Excellence team, working as a support role to the Language Services team (dotted reporting line to Language Services Manager). The role will interact with various functions – Operations Management, Product team and Analytics and Clients. B.Responsible Manage the implementation of Booking.com translation management system (TMS) Create, communicate and manage detailed project plans, dependencies, resource plans, schedules and deadlines Assess and communicate risks and execute effective risk mitigation plans. Hold all project resources accountable in an effective and professional way Work with language teams, coordinators, implementation consultants, product managers and analysts to plan and prioritize phases of systems integrations Communication with vendors technical teams, implementation consultants as well as internal product team Work closely with product owners to ensure the product will evolve to facilitate future integrations. Coordinate with stakeholders and users to gather detailed product integration requirements. Assist Language service team in streamlining localization and translations workflows with LSPs and/or freelance/internal language teams and in-country review process Work with Language services team to analyze localization processes, identify improvement opportunities, design new workflows and define technical requirements for new systems, features or integrations Support Language Service Manager in performance analysis and identifying improvement areas, in order to ensure relevant KPIs Collaborate with Finance and Language Services team to establish cost and quality measurements and create plans for optimization Support project managers / coordinators in setting up workflows for new clients. Establish efficient standards and guidelines Initiate and drive process & technical changes in a diverse stakeholder field with Operations, Product and Analytics B.Skilled 5+ years of experience in similar role Experience managing/contributing to the implementation of a TMS to automate translation process for website and other content types Good overall knowledge of translation technology, tools and trends of the market Experience with streamlining localization workflows with LSP and/or freelance/internal language teams and In-Country review process Experience working with and leading cross-functional project teams Proven experience in deploying localization and translation automation systems and/or methodologies in order to increase process efficiency, reduce time-to-market and support scalability Development and execution of project plans according to project methodologies (PMP, Prince2) Good communicator, able to work with, influence and align with multiple stakeholders Flexible and capable to find the right balance between structured problem analysis and project management and agility to deal with B.com fast-pacing change environment The hiring company Booking.com BV is the company behind Booking.com™, the market leading online accommodation reservation service in the world.
